Holograms are a fun subject to play with, so here are several of them I made in Unreal Engine 4 to explore some ideas.
When you need to display data, nothing is better than a few animated lines. Heavily inspired by Evangelion motion graphics and screen displays. All these visualization use simple meshes to make the individual lines, then a texture deform the geometry based on custom UVs.

The wave pattern was made in a custom Pixel Processor node in Substance Designer, which allowed to tweak and generate different versions:
